“Still in the build process, quality looks good my only complaint like others is the nose gear. I did design a push push steering set up that works excellent with a standard 5mm front FreeWing retract. I am going turbine in mine plenty of room to work and of course for turbine parts”

“I SEE NOW WHY THE OLD TIMERS LIKE BALSA... THIS MODEL IS NOT NOT FOR BEGINNERS!!! This air frame as many of us know is exceptionally stable as well as many of its other characteristics. This model flies remarkably close to the FW L39. All FW servos, retracts and fans fit this model PERFECTLY; like there was possibly some coordinated design. I cant say enough about the build quality/ construction, thought of retrofitting as well as durability. I have now roughly over 120 flights on it and have yet to utilize any spare box parts on hand. The one caveat with this phenomenal model is GEAR/ NOSE WHEEL STEERING is inundated and simply isn't efficient. Fortunately there is plenty of space allowing an engineering of a nose retract/ steering system mirroring many FW models; using a multitude of spare FW servos, mounting brackets, arms, struts, wheels and tires. After MANY test flights this L39 has far surpassed many of my expectations, eliminated weight to thrust ratio doubts and has superseded any model flying experience thus far! Alpha was right; this model is deceptively fast!!! DOES NOT NEED MUCH FLAP TO T.O. OR LAND. Definitely needs plenty of runway to land!!!”
