“Motion is my go to for RC supplies and when possible RC planes ( warbirds ). I bought this to use with my Phoenix models P40, I needed a backup and they are one and the same unit. Now unfortunitly , the cost was higher then the othre distributor that carried this product but in all fairness this is because the main distributor for Phoenix USA is never in stock . So Motions price most likely reflected their willingness to bring in stock with a fluctuating tariff. I have no issue paying more when they ( Motion ) support the hobby in these difficult tariff times.”

“THE REASON FOR ORDERING THIS PHOENIX ELECTRIC CONTROLLER WAS TO HAVE A SPARE CONTROLLER ON HAND.
I HAVE THREE LARGE SCALE PLANES WITH THIS ELECTRIC RETRACT CONTROLLER.
AT THIS TIME I ONLY HAVE ABOUT TEN FLIGHTS ON THE BLACK HORSE SPITFIRE MX AIRCRAFT SO MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS CONTROLLER IS LIMITED BUT SUCCESSFUL. THE RETRACTS HAVE WORKED FLAWLESSLY AND ME " THE PILOT" HASN'T MESSED UP YET ON TAKE OFFS, FLYING OR LANDING.”

“I bought this controller along with the black horse retractable tail wheel. The controller does not have any instructions and I found the port labeling a little confusing. It took me awhile to realize that the retract port on my receiver(channel 5) plugged into the retract port on the controller not the servo in port. After that I found the the controller worked very wheel. It seems that only Black Horse retracts work with this controller. I tried some other retracts that I have with the standard JR/futaba leads and they would not work in any port on the controller. If you use Black Horse retracts this controller will work just fine. I gave it only 4 starts because there where no instruction.”

“I received this with the black horse retractable tail wheel. There was no instructions and even though it starts on the unit where power and the retracts plug into nothing seems to work. I know that retractable tail wheel is goods because it works with an e-flite retractable controller.I called in for some technical help but no one seems to know anything about this controller. I would ask for a refund but I made the mistake and threw the box it came in.”
