“I love the way it flies . Looks great in the air ,easy to fly but the covering sags in the sun and doesn't stick to the balsa underneath . It's basically like vinyl shelf liner. It can't de shrunl with an iron or heat gun.”

“You would think that for almost $1400 they would at least get the dang spinner correct! It takes just as much engineering to design a model correctly as it does to get it wrong. And no one ever calls it out. They go through all the work of detailing, weathering etc. and when it comes to the spinner its like "eeeh....good enough".Airplane is great and well built for sure but geez...can you manufacturers please stop cutting simple corners to save 2cents on a spinner already. Nice airplane otherwise.”

“This is my first ARF and I chose the P-40C. It is a great build and awesome flying plane. My only issue was the rear landing gear keep coming out of the ball link when retracting the gear. Easy fix put a metal ball link on with blue lock tight and good as new.”

“The wood construct of the plane is reinforced with a layer of carbon fiber like tape which adds to the strength of the plane. Do not glue down the pods around the main gear nor the canopy, use screws to attach. With a 60cc electric motor and two 5000 mah batteries and a Phoenix 160 amp esc on the nose battery box the balance was just about perfect. I also used an 18amp BEC. Instructions are well done and are easy to understand. Motion always has good support for their products which is why I keep coming back. Nice looking covering and detail as well. My plane weighed 23.5 lbs. when done.”

“A very good plane for the price. To make it above the rest replace all the hinges with robart super hinge point 310 replace all the ball links with metal ones, you than have a very good plane. I fly this plane with a 9 cell system with the batteries all the way forward powering a 50 cc rimfire with a 20=12 prop i get 5=7 minutes flying time. I run three different power systems one for flight controls, one for retracts, and one for the motor. The plane flys very good with this setup and lots of safety added. The only thing I had problems with was the retract control unit. Iam still waiting for a new one from motion rc. The biggest thing you have to realize is that this is the best value for money on the market”
