“The kit is awesome looking, has a lot of presence in the sky. However, this kit is not an "easy" build, it requires a solid experience in building, as a lot of sanding and adjustments are needed. I installed SW140 engine and seems enough power for it´s weight, it behaves like a sport jet. Ailerons are very small, I recommend using taileron setup for good roll rate.In my opinion the CG in the manual gets the plane too nose heavy, here is the maiden video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0txhcuCZAs”

“Pictures and videos don't do justice for this jet, it has presence! It is a builder kit and will take some time to build. With the exception of the brakes, everything else is good quality. I put a K-142 in ti and it is plenty of power. It is 23 LB dry and 32 LB with fuel. I get about 8-10 minutes of flight.Use book CG and flap throws, and this jet lands like a pussycat. Her eis a flight video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_SYKyGXtj4”

“Videos and pictures don’t do justice for this jet. This is a big beautiful jet and relatively light. It is 23.5 LB dry and 32.4 LB wet. The finish is beautiful! The frame is solid, carbon reinforced balsa and plywood. The covering is heat shrink wrap with weathering effect, nicely done! The brakes are very weak. The left side has about 20% grip and the right is a little better at about 60%. The pots on the controller are useless. I swapped the controller with a JP controller, but the problem is with the brakes. I took the left brake apart and cleaned it, but no improvement. I put 3 flights on it. It needed little trimming and flew very nice. I added a taileron mix on a switch. It rolls much nicer with taileron. The K-142 is more than enough. I didn't exceed half throttle except for a few verticals. The video is from the 1st and 2nd flight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWTCNAZKaGUOn the 3rd flight, during landing, I had full flaps with throws more than manual recommendation, It got too slow on the final, I started giving it throttle, but it was not responding. I should have gone to no flaps or half before going to full throttle. Unfortunately, it got into an alpha lock and crashed.FW Mig-29 has the same tendency of getting into alpha lock specially the version without thrust vectoring. I ordered a fuse and a brake. Will reduce the flaps and give it another try.”
