This is a well-built ARF, very complete. It has nice scale details and a complete hardware package. The plane went together easily and flies in a scale fashion. I went the electric route and have enjoyed the simplicity.

Beautiful model of a beautiful aircraft. I sent it as a present to a great mechanic of this particular aircraft!

The airframe is fine, however the landing gear needs to be corrected and fixed! The wheel alignment is all wrong. The amount of toe-in is ridiculous! Added to the fact that the wheels are not vertically aligned correctly makes the plane skip across my shop floor. I will have to somehow re-drill the gear or make custom axels to fix this issue. This is not acceptable for an $800.00 kit. I will not fly it until I can fix this glaring issue. Motion RC or Blackhawk needs to correct this and send out a replacement gear!

Having bought the kit a few years ago and a cursory examination from me missed seeing the wing panel root damage. Last week when I decided to build the airplane I care fully unwrapped the original plastic wrap around the wings to discover the wing panel attach brackets or tabs were broken off. Photos attached. Called motion and spoke to Martin who said that because the airplane was bought a few years ago they were not going to do anything about it. Instead after I spent $799 on the kit and motion’s suggestion was for me to buy two new wings for $400. Very disappointed by their response. Separately 2 weeks ago I bought the Feisler Storch so after the enlightening discussion I opened that kit up and saw the same wing tabs while shipping had punched through the cardboard boxes. they were still attached although I do not know if there is any damage inside. It a packaging issue endemic to Black horse kits. One that is easily fixed by adding foam. I will address the Feisler issue with Motion now. Very disappointing

I would like to update my review on the toe-in issue I had with my Wilga. I was able to dismantle the gear assembly and modify the gear by repositioning the internal aluminum sleeve in the gear that sets the camber of the wheels. I then redrilled the gear and bolted the sleeve in place. It was a bit of a job but, the gear looks and functions much better. While I was disappointed with the quality of the gear, I do have to complement Motion RC for their attempt to correct the issue.

I just recently purchased the Wilga. I felt the quality of the kit was excellent up until I installed the landing gear. The amount of the toe in of the landing gear is to the point of ridiculous. I don't know if I just happened to get a bad set or this is the norm for the kit. The toe in is so bad that the wheels actually hop when you push the model across the floor. I have an email in to Motion RC to see what can be done. I've been flying models for 35 years and have never experienced anything like this. Hopefully I just got a bad set of gear and I get a replacement set. Until then I can't give it a good review. Sorry

I have only inspected the airframe and landing gear so far and the craftsmanship is excellent. I built one 6 yrs. ago and while the first one was beautiful, some small changes are going to make this a simpler build. Fit and finish really is superb.
