“I had a steering servo freeze up on my Bancroft Mad Flow tunnel boat after the third run. I put in a trouble ticket in on the Motion RC site and had a resolution within a day. They sent out the servo and back up and running again. Great customer service and fast response. PS. The instructions on this boat don’t tell you to seal the servo but I will this time and I suggest anyone to do so also. A balloon and zip tie keeps it 100% dry and simple fix. They do tell you to put the provided balloon on the receiver which I did and when I removed the balloon after Several runs and flip overs the receiver was bone dry. So the balloon works very well. Otherwise I’m very impressed with the performance, speed, and build of the Mad Flow. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a boat.”

“This is the first RC boat I've owned, so I can't compare it to others but I have a lot of other RC products and I have to say the quality and build on this is excellent. Very simple easy to work on design. Runs very fast and stable on mildly choppy water, but really shines on glassy conditions. the Graphics are really cool and not stickers but actually inbeded in the epoxy so nothing to come off. This allowed me to use rain X on the surface to keep it looking new. the Uprighting feature works every time no problem there. Overall I would say you can't go wrong with this boat. the Price is very compatible with similar designs and I think you get more with this Mad Flow then the other tunnel boats I've looked at. Virtually no assembly required except to put batteries in the transmitter and a water proofing ballon on the receiver. I did some additional prep with corrosion X on the drive line and motor mount just to help waterproof it a little more. but after running it there was just a little bit of water inside, but not wrought to cause problems. One thing to be aware of is definitely go over the boats small screws and hex nuts just to be sure every thing is tight. My rudder bolt was loose but I caught it prior to running it. Otherwise I would have been in the lake with out steering. Enjoy, I think this is and excellent choice.”

“This boat is alot of fun for the price. The good. It is pretty fast Maybe 32 mph. Handles great good runtime for a small battery. Lipo cutoff worked great. The bad. Failsafe does not work. I tried everything. If you loose signal boat gone. The cowl is a cheap plastic and mine cracked at the seem causing the self righting to not work. You get what you get for the price. A few fixes. And it's a good fun little boat.”

“I haven't owned an R/C boat in many years. On the maiden voyage I was pleasantly surprised by the advances in technology since that time! The Madflow looks great and is fast! It's well made and everything you need to run it is included. The only adjustment I made was to turn the steering down slightly. The self-righting feature works very well. Just be sure to stay away from any vegetation in the water. Vegetation can prevent the boat from righting itself.If you're looking for a boat that looks good and performs well, the Bancroft Madflow should definitely be on your short list!”

“I have been waiting for a tunnel hull boat that was self righting and seen the V3 by Bancroft. Received it packaged very well in a double box. It is a beautiful boat to look at and boy does it go on the water. I had some batteries charge when i knew it was going to be delivered. Put the batteries in the transmitter and installed a 2200mAh 3S battery in the boat and off to the lake. Oh by the way it came with a 2200mAh battery also. I was surprised at how much power it has and its speed when wide open. I only ran 3 batteries on it so far because it was getting dark and started to rain again. I have not had it flip over yet, but will test that when it is day time. By having the capability to self right you can push the limits of the boat and really drive it knowing you won't have to worry about retrieving it out in the water. You won't go wrong with this boat and i'm sure you will be very happy with it. I'm very happy with mine and the quality and performance is awesome.”
