“If you’re trying to decide between this and the cheaper brushed version, spend the extra for this one. Not only is the speed 3x faster, the controller, esc, and battery/time on water is vastly improved. The brushed version is fun for the 1st 2-3 sessions if you’re a beginner but you’ll soon be craving more and this one satisfies!The self-righting feature was a pleasant surprise as it works much quicker than I was expecting. Planning on getting a second battery and hope this one lasts a long time. Super fun!!”

“This boat is a lot of fun. Fast out of the box in calm water with good control distance. Have not run it in choppy waters yet. Get a second battery, 1300mah only lasts 5 to 6 minutes per pack if you are throttling it a lot. Motor gets warm, you should check temps between packs, mine needs a 5 minute cool-down between runs. Very happy with this purchase, the smaller size is really fun and convenient! I've run at least a dozen packs thru it and have been greasing the flex cable after every (4) packs and it has not broken down, not once!”
