“I am very pleased with this recent release. I already own the 1/200 Bismarck and the USS NC is a couple of notches up the details and quality scale. It truly deserves the description “museum quality.” I was amazed to find the TBS antennas on the mainmast included along with the whip antennas on the stacks. Also amazed to see the screws accurately reproduced 4-blade and 5-blade both. BB55 is my favorite WWII US fast battleship and I have visited her in Wilmington numerous times. I also like the dark hull/light superstructure scheme she wore at the end of the war, and the accurate representation of the Curtiss SC-1 Seahawk floatplanes that replaced the OS2U Kingfishers carried up till the final months of WWII. All in all, if you’re a fan of WWII USN battleships this is a must-have!”

“I received the model in perfect condition, did not see anything broken from shipment. Additionally it arrived quicker than I thought it would. I have lived in NC all my life and I can not keep track of how many times I have visited the USS NC memorial in Wilmington. Seeing the detail of this model brings back so many fond memories. I am so happy to have this part of history in my possession.”

“The model arrived in good shape some of the rigging was broke, but that’s an easy fix. The other issue was the starboard inboard propeller shaft was bent, causing excessive vibration presently waiting for some hex head wrenches to remove the shaft and either try to straighten it or get it replaced. The other issue is the other remaining shafts are packed full of grease, causing and excessive high current draw on the batteries that needs to be cleaned out and re-oiled for somebody that operates RC boats this is not a very big deal but for somebody that knows nothing about it. It could be a big deal, but overall I give this product a good rating and would buy it again.”
