This Leapord tank is awesome, but it does kinda suck that it’s from the tank museum series which comes with a lil tank mechanic guy instead of a German tank team. But whatever, great price. Hopefully cobi diesnt continue to raise their prices.”
“My son got four different tanks for Christmas and was super excited to assemble them. The first one, the Panzer three, was missing two pieces. Not the end of the world as he could replace the pieces with parts from his lego stash but annoying. He next tried to assemble the Renault tank and it had one broken tank tread and one missing, had to use the pieces that are supposed to be mounted on the front of the tank. He was able to get that one assembled. Now this leopard set. He didn’t even want to try as he was now discouraged from the other two sets. I said let’s try. Sure enough 3/4 of the way through the set and it’s missing two 1x studs, one that helps hold the turret together and another that holds the fuel line together. The turret is a show stopper as it’s a Cobi exclusive piece, one that doesn’t have a Lego counterpart. Yes, you can go on the Cobi website and fill out a missing piece form and then wait what? 3 months for the piece to arrive? Cobi, your sets are well thought out but your quality control sucks. My son doesn’t even want to attempt the four set. Most likely I’ll be returning this set and the other one and not recommending these sets to any of our friends until Cobi gets their QC sorted out.These sets are well thought out and very imaginative and fun to build. The pieces fit together snugly and the instructions are well written but the missing parts just crushes the enjoyment, especially for a child.”
“Cobi makes wonderful building block military models! The two tanks (Leopard and Abrams) that I purchased for young nephews age 7 and 5 looked beautiful when assembled. The project may have been slightly over the head of the five year old, but he progressed and finished with parents' help. The blocks link up nicely and instructions are clear. Best thing, not Chinese. They are made in Poland. These toys are the answer to militaria taht you cannot find with Lego. I will be a repeat customer for future Christmas gifts and birthdays.”
“I recently was introduced to COBI products, and decided to buy this as my first model because I love the Leopard series tanks. The finished product was fantastic!! I got a lot of nostalgia bringing me back to when I was a child putting together all of my Lego Star Wars sets. All of the pieces were present, even some extras. The tracks were tough to put together and hurt my hands, but other than that it was a very enjoyable build!”
