“I think these are ideal for replacing foam hinges when they break (which they inevitably will), and are an easy best choice when installing or replacing hinges on wood construction flying models up to .60 size. Larger, heavier duty hinges are needed for larger planes, depending on size.”
“The hinges were a little lighter than expected for a standard hinge. The supposedly captive pins on several hinges were loose (3 fell out). I suggest that one check the crimp on each, and recrimp with pliers , if necessary, before installing. Otherwise, they install easily and work fine.Good value.”
“I have had the elevators rip off in flight on some of my foamies so I use these on all my planes from now on I can depend on them not coming apart. One thing just be carefull useing the glue you can glue the hing so it won't work.”
