“Tried these afterburners after similar from other venders. Even made my own to keep costs down. I love the design, quality, and ease of installation. However, I did not like that the illumination started at about 30 or 40% throttle. After a few flights on the plane, I noticed the light was staying on unless I throttled completely to idle. A couple of suggestion I would recommend is to use a small UBEC (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B083HVVBR2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) with a 6S balance plug to power the ESC so you don't unbalance your battery cells as much and set the throttle activation range to about 60 or 70% on. If I had an extra channel, I would have mixed it with the throttle, but I didn't want to dish out the money for a new receiver just for an afterburner light. All in all, a great product and a very reasonable price.”
