“Only flew it once so far off a small walkway in our park. The 6 bladed fan did not offer enough static thrust for the location where I fly.With this 12 bladed fan I had a nice maiden around the park. It has enough static thrust to get you out of trouble IE on a short take off.Measured the static thrust in the 104 with the 6 versus the 12 and gained nearly 300 grams with a full 6S pack 2700 mah quite a significant difference.With a light set up, it works well and get 3 minutes with mixed throttle. I also installed the F16 shock strut upgrades. The nose gear could be a little stronger for it bends in the uneven grass. Probably would need a 4 mm main wire instead of 3 which is to weak.So motor and fan seem great . “Bough this unit to drop into a Habu 2 bare airframe. Needed quite a bit of modification both on intake and exhaust but managed to arrive at around 4lbs of thrust on a model weighing 4lbs. Model takes off easily on grass with retracts and flies nice and fast with a nice sound. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend.”

“I just purchased two of these for use in my SU-47 I bench tested them using a 50a FMS speed controller and a 6s setup. After about a minute at various speeds speed controller was a little warm. I will be using 2 80a in the actual plane. The motors were barely warm. Both units were smooth and seemed to have plenty of power. Can't beat it for the money.”
“When in doubt, power out!, This EDF has some serious power. I ran this up on my 70MM Vampire EDF (Read guy holding the plane on a scale) and read about 1100 grams of thrust. The unit feels nice (For the price) and worth the money. It has the nice sounds we all want and is 10x better then the 4S 5 blade unit I took out. Only a few runs with it, so I'm not able to speak to long term reliability, but I see no issues likely. It's balanced and does not scrape the inner ducting.”
