“Poorly manufactured and too light for RC models of today. I am an Excellent RC pilot (and Mechanical Engineer) with 50 years of experience who flies off of grass runways like 80% of AMA members. The retracts on today's market are not made to accept the speed, weight and runway conditions encountered by RC flyers. I'm afraid the RC vendors see the replacement retracts as another profit item and do not encourage their manufacturers to design and produce better quality products.”

“These are build super cheap and if you have any sort of hard landing they break. It’s definitely a weak part in any aircraft you may being putting them into.”
“Although the air frame of the Flightline Seafury is extremely well built, the landing gear is woefully inferior. Compared with other foam models, the Seafury landing gear does not rate very high. It is possibly suitable for soft landings on grass or asphalt runways it will not stand up to even smooth gravel/sandy runways. Compared with my Eflite planes it is noticeably weak. Again, that said, Motion RC is a great company with outstanding customer service. They did not build the plane or the landing gear.”
