“This is the gyro I didn’t know that I needed. So easy to setup with the Bluetooth lite setup tool. Just download the Freewing app from Apple, in my case, and you are in business. All wires are included to get you going. Just plug in the aileron, elevator and rudder wires from control surfaces to the gyro where indicated and then plug the corresponding wires back to receiver (or the control box). Then setup the gyro mode control wire to an open channel on your receiver, then set it up on your transmitter. Now plug the included USB-C wire from gyro to the blue tooth communicator and power up the plane to power everything up. Now wait a few seconds to a minute while it searches for the Freewing gyro. Then select “gyro” and make sure all control surfaces are working the right way and if not you can switch them on the app. Make sure you setup a 3-position switch so the gyro can be Off (no LED), on basic operation (Green mode), or Self-Level mode (Blue mode). All the control surfaces are working in the correct direction. Flying review this weekend hopefully. Maidened and and two flights went well with disaster on third! Did one hammerhead stall quite high and it wouldn’t recover and nose onto ground. I had it on Basic gyro setting for this flight and previous two and was working great until it didn’t. No control at all except throttle was working fine. DON’T know what happened but have to suspect the gyro???”

“I purchased this after I rebuilt my 64mm panther and thought It would help my jet. Unfortunately didn’t get to fly twice since it had terrible tendency to roll on a hand launch and even with a gyro took a dive and fell apart. However this gyro was easy to program and testing at the table showed it was functioning and working properly, I plan to put this in another model in the future.”
