I helped my 6.5-year-old son, who loves K'nex, machinery, and robotics, with the first couple projects to make sure he understood the instructions and how to build the circuits step-by-step. Then I had him double-check with me on each project he built before turning it on. The basic instructions were easy for him to repeat once explained, even though he can't read them on his own yet. He loved learning the details of what's happening in each project!This kit is so well organized in how it builds cumulative knowledge throughout. For children who are interested in electronics, I highly recommend going through the projects sequentially. Many of them introduce a new concept, then teach an alternative in the subsequent step.”
