“My son loves the snap circuits. He is engaged with a lot of projects, builds them, takes them apart and builds them again. He already has his favorite ones. Use of speakers and lights are wonderful, you can directly see and hear the effects. He built an AM radio this evening he was very proud of, even listened to the presidential debate and then sports coverage he was super amazed about.”
“Have a just turned six year old who is having a ball with these. We started off doing this as a family project, learning the grid of the board and how to identify the pieces, and working through a system of following the diagrams. Four days in and kiddo is doing projects all on their own. This is a fun way to teach young kids to understand the idea of coordinates as well as following plans. This says eight and up but if you have a younger child that enjoys puzzles and you have the time to help them get to know the system, I think this can definitely be used by younger kids.”
“She is 7 and she spends hours whenever she takes it out to play. Great for imagination , entertainment and learning. I’m surprised at what I’m learning from it too!”
“We had very high expectations from this Snap Circuits product. My son was very disappointed when we realised that it was not working. After trying to figure out if we were doing something wrong, we finally figured out that one of the leads in one of the battery packs was not soldered on properly and that it was not making contact as you can see in the attached pictures. Such a basic manufacturing error is unacceptable, as I wonder now if there were any quality checks done at all. Will be returning this.”
