Snap Circuits Pro - 500 Experiments Reviews

4.8 Rating 197 Reviews
Bought this for my 7 year old and it is a fantastic piece of kit for teaching him circuitry for beginners. Plenty of experiments to keep him busy for a long time. The best thing is no wires so it's not messy and easy to follow using the grid reference.

The kit itself was fine, but the way it was shipped was terrible. The box was crushed on one side, making it difficult to wrap. The shipping does make a difference with this product because if the delicate wires and thin circuit boards inside get damaged, the product is useless.

This product was so well received by an engineer-minded 9yo girl. She's had countless hours of fun building various things inside the book, and has also ventured out to make a few things that aren't. The radio module was a huge hit. I can't recommend this enough if you're looking for a cool and very robust gift for a young, STEM-oriented little human. I think it would be appropriate for kids as early as 5-6 years old.

My kid has requested this snap circuits as one of his gift on his birthday. He said they’re using snap circuit at school and he wants to do more at home too. I’ve done electronics on my school days so of course I got excited to get this for him (feels like getting younger again). We already did built light-controlled panel, fun with the alarm and then discussed how they works. Seemed simple but it keeps us going and to try another project. There are a lot of projects you can choose which makes it worth it and keeps my kid occupied rather than just watching tv. Definitely be working more projects while he is still interested and enjoying building this up. Recommended product.

We saw interactive activity at a science museum similar to this toy that was awesome, but this toy took it to a whole new level. I got it for my 5 year old daughter. In the first hour she picked it up like a kid learning legos, and was highly interested in learning how the pieces worked. For her age group she cant read so she needs some back up but she easily looks at the pictures and puts her plan int action. The best part (since she cant read) is when she figures out what her masterpiece does in the end and we have our pow wow on what the pieces do and how it all works and comes together. She always asks what are we building next?
