“My son likes it for the most part. He has lots of Snap Circuits and was excited to get this one. The instructions are super confusing and sometimes don't work (if you follow the diagram in one step it doesn't match with the next step, or the brics it says you'll need for a step aren't exactly the same as what the diagram shows). My son and husband have made it work, but he can't do it alone like he can with his other Snap Circuits (he's seven). I think they either had a different writer for this set or rushed production too fast without proofreading. More detailed instructions would be helpful for the bric part (it just shows a picture of what it looks like when you have it together but it's hard to tell exactly which brics go where). And my son is a PRO with Legos. So it's fun, but expect some frustration.”
“This is a simple to use electronics set with lego like bricks used to build with. We have other snap circuits already which can be used with this if you wanted to. You can probably also use other building bricks with it as well. There are special pieces which attach to the bricks to make it possible to attach the snap circuit to them. My son enjoys this.”
