“I rated four stars because this thing is super cool. Makes an awesome gift! But I will say that it’s not easy to build them, definitely a lot of tiny details and takes some time. That said, I think it’s a great buy and would purchase more of these!”
“I got this foe my son, and I ended up being the one struggling to get it together and it doesn't work well. Very challenging to assemble. I'm 35 and have 3 college degrees but to get this to work is difficult to say the least. The pieces are small and sometimes you're trying to connect parts on less than 1cm piece. I had to use an extremely powerful flashlight to get the engine to work a little bit (it's a cloudy day outside so no sun). I don't recommend this otherwise seemingly good gift idea.”
“This is not a toy for kids. It’s a box of frustration . There are no words in the directions. And each step asks you to use multiple pieces that all look the same. Who makes a robot-building set with no words? I can build ikea kits no problem but this requires lots of background in circuit-card assembly. And heaven forbid you pop-out the wrong piece from the plastic frame or 2 at once. Then you are done for. There’s no way to know what piece-number it was support be if it’s not attached to the plastic frame. So if it’s a loose piece... what is it? Who knows? All in all, deeply frustrating. Not for kids. Not for 10 year olds. I’m 44 and I’m not patient enough for it (and I’m a middle school teacher! I’m pretty patient!)”
