“Got this for our son for Christmas. We all were excited to build all the cool things and see what it can do. He was crushed when the motor would barely work at all....surely not enough to turn the wheels- barely enough to even get the head to turn. We tried everything we could think of to get it to work, still nothing.”
“I can get the gears to spin with a battery until I put the second part of the box on, and then the motor just whirs and won't spin the gears. Further, it never tells you how to hook the leads to the solar panel - I assume they just go in between the springs on the head but even in the sun the motor doesn't seem to respond at all. Couple hours blown and my son's disappointed :(”
“Really enjoyed putting this together with my daughter, but the fact that it doesn’t run even in full sunlight was hugely disappointing. They should include a small battery option as well.”
