“I chose this battery for two reasons. One was physical size, the other was mAh rating.Size was important because I have the Huina MA 3240 mixer, which comes with a mere 400 mAh NiMh battery. The basic battery runs the mixer OK, for about 10 minutes. Then nothing. I believe the biggest power draw is the rotating mixer itself. As with all NiMh batteries I've encountered, the power drain is linear, so the first few minutes are great. After that you can see all operations slow down and eventually stop. This Admiral battery fixes all problems easily. The battery tray is very shallow, so I needed a pack that was thin. The fact that this is a LiPo means I'll get full power for almost the entire run. The 1000 mAh rating will allow a 30-40 minute run cycle without and danger to the battery.I'm pleased with this product and recommend it.”

“I needed to replace a 10 year old 1000mAh battery for an older r/c helicopter. The Admiral was the smallest battery I could find (without shipping something from China) with a 1000 mAh rating. It is still larger than the one I needed to replace; but with some modification to the battery compartment of the helicopter, I am able to use it. Oh, the Admiral is also at least a 1/4oz heavier in weight than the original battery, but that turned out to not be a showstopper.”
