“Flying very gently I managed to remain aloft in my Timber with this battery for 16.2 minutes while hauling two cameras, after using it as my primary battery for three months. The E-flite/Horizon-recommended battery for the Timber, a 2200mAh 30C 3S, costs more than this 2600mAh Admiral which when watt metering full throttle the whole time and stopping when the LVC kicks in gives me a little more than 2600mAh, yet the Admiral weighs only 13g more than the E-flite battery. I am not a chemist or physicist, I don't understand why that's possible, but it's apparently the case. Thirteen more grams in this plane yields no difference in flying that I can perceive. So the E-flite has significantly lower capacity, the same C rating, the Admiral has better reviews, and due to the Admiral's greater capacity it ought to pump out 78A continuous versus 66A, and the Admiral fits just fine (as does the Admiral 3700mAh, another winner), zero puffing so far, zero signs of aging, cells discharge impressively evenly, a fully-charged Admiral can collect dust for a few days and still hold 4.2V per cell. I wish I had found the Admirals a long time ago (I also have the 2200mAh 45C 3S, and the 2500mAh 50C 4S for ultra horsepower). Thank you MotionRC for selling these at reasonable prices.”
“First time using this brand. Was pleasantly surprised at how well they hold their charge. Will be buying more. As usual, MRC delivered the goods on time or in this case a day early.”
