Admiral 3000mAh 4S 14.8V 35C LiPo Battery with T Connector Reviews

4.8 Rating 167 Reviews
I have used a couple of these batteries so far in my Freewing P-51 and others, and have been impressed with the performance and longevity. I average a seven-minute flight on these batteries, with the timer going off at six minutes, and have not had them fail to perform to date. Cost is reasonable, and I am getting what I need from them!

I originally bought two for an FMS 1400mm P-47, the pack works great and can get 7 minutes of mixed cruise with occasional full throttle passes. Batteries handle heavy loads well without getting hot and neither have swollen at all. More recently I use these in a Tower Hobbies Kaos .40 size (about 5 lbs) pattern plane I converted from glow to electric. Using a Rimfire .25 motor and an 11x6 prop the pack came back with 47% remaining after 6 minutes mixed flying time so 7 minutes in this 55 plane is likely. With this power combo the pack has plenty of reserve power for good climb and get approx. 100 Watts/lb or a little more.I have some smaller 3s Admirals, none have puffed though I occasionally get carried away and run them down to less than 10% on my pack checker with no loss of capacity or excessive heat.

Admiral lipo packs are my choice for most all of my airplane batteries . Use the 3000mah 4s lipos in my eflite yak54cz as well as my roc hobby voodoo p51 . They charge consistently have tons of use on a couple that I'm still using after purchasing 1 year ago ! Highly recommend these to any one in need of this size lipo pack.

I got two, and mine are 283g and 281g. The site says 310g. I'm wondering if others have measured the weights of theirs.Otherwise I just got two of these and they're great. I've been wanting extra batteries and these were just what I was looking for. I fly a Carbon-Z Yak and these work great. I get about 7 mins of 3d flying. At 281 grams it's a really good balance for the Yak.

I have gone through a lot of lipos in the past six years. These are the only ones I order consistently. The price is right, and I haven't had a failure of any kind. If it makes a pilot feel safer paying twice as much for a Thunder Power battery, have at it. But I have more respect for my hobby dollars than that.

I originally bought 2 of these batteries and I had sagging issues with brand new batteries. I contacted motion about my concerns and long story short Matt and Alpha took care of me and sent a replacement. It's great when you can deal with someone who stands behind their products. Top notch guys you all are
