“The battery works well in the Stinger 90. It is a little warm after a full flight at mostly full throttle but not hot. It fits well in the airplane and the connectors also are easy to unplug and plug in. The only problem I have with them is the charge current is limited to about 2.2 amps and it take a while to recharge them.”
“I was a HK person, good price and good quality, but now I am Admiral LIPO guy, good price, comparable to HK, but the quality is better, have 5 flights on a 6 cell 5000mah and the performance is great and no puffy pack on hard 3DBuy this LIPO, BUY United States!!”
“I have used many other different brands of 5000mah, 6s batteries and this one ranks right up there with the best performing ones. It also happens to be the lowest priced one. I cycled it (charge/discharge) 3 times before using it in my plane. I will buy these Admirals again in other sizes as I need them.”
“I purchased this battery for my Stinger 9() and I am very happy with it. It stays cool even at high power settings and when I checked internal cell resistance I found that no cell exceeded 2 milliohms equelling or exceeding TP at half the price.”
“For $100 it's a great value. But mine puffed after about 6 flights in my Me262.I have a Pulse battery with a lower C rating that didn't puff.Battery still seems to work fine. Maybe some loss in power/flight time. But I still use it.Hesitant to buy another one unless I can be assured it won't happen again, or it will be replaced no questions asked. It happened after a flight that was pretty heavy on the throttle, but the lesser pack holds up fine. I say lesser but the Pulse battery was much more expensive... Just has alert C rating and Mah(4500/45c).I'll contact support about it and if I get some sort of assurance or replacement promise I'll be buying a couple more.Need $1000 worth of batteries to go fly for an hour! They take me 2 hours to charge/balance and I get 3 minutes of flight time in this twin EDf jet.By the way, in all fairness, this pack in a normal plane would have no problems. I'm running it in probably the highest stress situation possible. Twin 70mm EDF kept WOT half the time.Again, good value.”
