“The product does not work well on grass, even with the 4S setup in the bird. They are great on concrete or on hard pack dirt. I recommend hand launching the plane due to the fact that the gear just add more drag. I’ve flown both 3S and 4S. The 3S setup is underpowered but performs better with no gear. The 4S setup is amazing and with no landing gear, the vertical is really good considering it is only a 64mm EDF. I would recommend this product if you are not on grass and would like to have scale take offs and landings.”
“These are great if you bend the **** out of them.My only suggestion is in order to make the front landing gear last longer, I recommend taking off the plastic covering that makes it look scale. Slip on one or two metal collars with set screws. These collars will help prevent the landing gear from going more inside the housing. If the landing gear rod goes into the housing too much, the wire/rod that connects to the servo will no longer be connected, and therefore the servo won't control the steering. In other words, you will not have any steering. I bought some dubro 3/32 collars and they fit perfectly over the landing gear rod.Happy Flying!”
