“I really like the steerable nose gear setup, however the location on the model is incorrect. It is too far forward, so I mounted mine in the scale position. The main gear is too long and spindly. I suppose this was done so the model would sit level, but it made the plane look strange. So I modified the gear by shortening and re bending them so the plane sits in a more scale like attitude. I have not flown it yet. I expect it will take off okay but with the long nose gear it will require a lot of up elevator to achieve a scale like F-8 landing.”
