“Unfortunately, this will be the first review from me that has more negatives than positives. First off, the airplane came packaged well and looks great as what has come to be expected by Motion RC and Freewing. The airplane flew great with minimal trim, just a few clicks of up elevator and a few clicks of right aileron and it was tracking straight as an arrow. I flew it four times on the day of the maiden and tried both 4000 and 5000 MAH 6S packs and it flew great with both. Now the bad. On the last two flights, I heard the motor surge twice on both flights which raised some concern because I was using brand new batteries and both the motor and speed controller I purchased brand new from Motion. The receiver is a brand new Lemon and I have never had trouble with any of these electronics in other aircraft. On the last flight, I was forced to land with the nose gear up due to the failure of the gear to cycle down on the last flight. No damage was discovered after inspecting the aircraft but the nose gear would no longer cycle. I tried cycling it several times but the gear motor seems to be burned up after just 4 flights. I know this aircraft isn't on the higher end of the quality ladder but I definitely expected a little better.”

“The landing gear is not suitable for landing on grass. I pulled mine out, replaced the plastic covers with foam patches and repainted the as an Aermacchi M-346. She flies good. A bit nose heavy with a 4000 mah pushed back as far as it will go. Despite such a large vertical stabilizer the tail wags without stabilization. Best part about this plane is the sound. Instead of whining like an angry vacuum, she hisses like a high bypass turbine. Sound really neat as she passes by. Definitely not for a beginner though. Especially without landing gear.”

“Not the easiest jet to fly! Crashed it into a tree on maiden. It seems like it doesn’t have enough power. Fortunately It dropped to the ground with just a few scrapes”

“sehr guter und schöner Jet...für mich war die Farbe zum Landen nach dem Jungfernflug nicht mehr akzeptabel und ich habe die Jak einfach umlackiert...Algerian AirForce 1996 Tigerscheme..ansonsten mit der Qualität und Verarbeitung sehr zufrieden. Die Decals sind fest verklebt, die grüne Farbe war sehr fest auf dem Epo. Die Servos und Ruderhörner waren fest verklebt. Für einen einfacheren Handstart und Belly-Landing fliege ich nur noch mit "Tailerons", nur noch mit zwei Servos an den Höhenleitwerken, keine Fahrwerke, Pilotenpuppen sind aus Gummi und wiegen mit Schrauben auch 50g und habe diese auch ausgebaut. Geflogen mit: Admiral 4500mAh 6 S und 2210kv 70mm EDF, 9%Starttrimmung”

“I purchased this EDF as an airframe to put my Eflite Viper power and radio system into. Overall, this is a decent airframe for the money. I wish the landing gear was the same as the FMS 70mm and the decals are coming off before first flight. If you are looking for a cost effective way to reuse a 70mm power system and radio system this is right for you. They also make a nice BAE Hawk for a few dollars more.”

“Flew great, like it was on rails. However, I did a high vertical climb then a loop, coming down at full speed I pulled up hard and a wing snapped off. Can't give 5 stars because the carbon rods should extend through the fuselage into both wings.”

“I fly mine FPV with an analog Foxeer T-Rex camera, Foxeer Reaper VTX, TBS Crossfire RX, a Speedy Bee F405 Wing flight controller with GPS. Great, easy to fly and land jet. Average flight distances total about 6+ miles per flight. Can fly in excess of 100mph with a tail wind. Paint used on this ARF is way better than the original PNP versiion that I had previously. I still sprayed it with 3 light coats of clear satin coating for added protection. Liked it so much I bought a second one to fly with WalkSnail Digital FPV video.”
