“I made about 1200 flights on the V1 Avanti in 4 1/2 years. Same landing gear all the time and landing on not the best grass. Each flight with 4500mAh 6s lipos, landing inbetween not counted as an extra flight. So I got a V2, put that EDF in my V1 and put an 8s Wemotec EDF in the Avanti V2. Measured 259 km/h on 8s with GPS. Then I recently got another V2 Avanti to fly with 6s. On 6s and 4500mAh I like her best. Friend also flied the Avanti V2 with a Xicoy 45, speed at 260 km/h but a way better acceleration than on my 8s Avanti. Now there are 5 more Freewing Avanti in the club. Have (had) from Freewing: Eurofighter, F22 90mm, F35 (70mm), AL37, Mig-29, Grippen (80mm), Hawk (70mm), F-16 (90mm), A-10 (80mm). All jets have pro's and con's - I like the Avanti best. Wishing for a 12s Freewing Avanti.”
