“ This nose gear is well made. It fits well and installs easily. The trailing link is much better than an oleo only suspension and ideal for landing on grass runways. The reason for the 4 star rating is due to the strut only not being available as a separate part. The retract, the connecting pin, the wheel, the axle, the steering arm, and the entire lower strut and wheel assembly are available as separate parts. But the strut itself cannot be bought without the wheel assembly. Oddly enough the top of the strut is the most likely part to deform in a less than ideal landing. Freewing, sell us the strut by itself too.”
