“First of all, awesome plane to fly. I do have a few recommendations. 1. Set up a gyro, done with and without and much better with especially with landings. You don't need much gain, just a little help. 2. Buy the high performance 10 blade fan/w motor. Again, done both and the high performance is definitely worth it. One last thing, Lower the aileron roll. I lowered mine down to 40%. Rolls very fast.”

“This jet is big in presence! Need some instructions for installing fan/esc. Had to get creative with that. Performance wise, awesome plane with the 9 blade setup. Put a custom paint scheme on it. You can tell a difference with missiles/tanks on it. Without the speed is close to the l39.This plane with correct flap setup almost lands itself. Very please with the jet and motions service. Thinking of getting a Robin 407 now! Great job motion!”

“I purchased this ARF to use a power system from the old Avanti. The plane assembled very easily and the power system was a simple drop in. Even though it's the less powerful out runner, it performs very well on grass. For grass ops I do recommend the nose strut brace from thingiverse, as the strut is long and takes a lot of force on a rough surface.”
“The A-4 from Freewing is a very predictable, smooth flyer. With the old 1857kv 12-bld. inrunner from FW it's my slowest flying jet though. The new 9-bld 1920kv setup adds a bit of extra top speed to this plane that makes it more enjoyable to fly, so that's a positive development for the PNP. However, with the nose weight this one needs to keep from nosing up into a stall from flying too slow, I have 8S plans for it in the future after removing the lead weight in the nose cone.”

“This one flies absolutely fantastic. I dropped in an Admiral RX600SP for added stability and she flies smooth as glass.Everything assembled spot on and the finish is great. She looks and flies, and lands fantastic all of the things I enjoy about flying so not much else to say.”
