the t1 shock absorbing gear set is nice but want work on the gray t1 hawk because the mounting brackets are in a different place that the red hawk has I fond that out when I purchased a red hawk wing so I could see the difference and I moved the brackets on my gray one but the landing set is very good

I purchased this to replace the gear on an FMS 1450 mm B25! I had crashed it and rebuilt several times. I had glued the gear and reinforced it with no retracts and no steerable nose wheel. Decided the try some trailing link Hawk wheels as we have rough grass. They were too short, so I built up the mounts. They won’t retract because the springs won’t allow it. The nose wheel is designed backward for the B 25 so I turned it around and it turns! The trailing link works very well in the grass. Walla! Works extremely well. Hope I can make the photo work. Will try this on several of my planes as the “trailing link” works so well on the grass.

I upgraded the landing gear with this set and I really like the shock absorbing capability, especially when I fly from a grass field. Looks are also very good. Installation was easier than I expected, since I did not even have to unglue the plastic piece covering the nose wheel. I was able to insert the screwdriver tip a bit sideways and remove/reinstall the four screws holding the nose wheel assembly. Nice!

The landing gear set was real nice, but too long. I had to widen the main gear wells so the'd fully retract. That meant trimming the foam, and that was a bummer.

Looks great, worked great and had no issues at all installing. I highly recommend this upgrade.
