“First of all I have about 25 jets ranging from 64mm up to 80mm. I am extremely happy with this L-39 jet. I punched in the maiden flights with this jet on April 6th. A few weeks later and I now have about 30 flights. This jet is so awesome. Last week one of the main gear popped out when I landed. It ripped the wires right out. I didn’t think I landing badly but it was windy so who knows. Anyhow up until then this jet went through the grass like a snake. Rotations were nice too using full flaps. She lands nice too but she requires a little throttle for authority. In the air this thing flies like it’s on a mission. Straight and true. The lights, the gear, the finish, and the detail, wow great plane, and best grass plane I’ve ever had.”

“Initial impression and assembly went well, until I started checking and adjusting control travels. None of the control horns are even with the hinge lines of the control surfaces. The result is the surfaces move further one way than the other. The manual calls for even travel for all controls, but is impossible to achieve. Sure this may be compensated for in the radio with sub-trims etc. or with adjusting the placement of servo arms and through a lot of trial and error, but shouldn't be necessary. Should be as simple as centering everything up and adjusting the overall rates. This YouTube video does a good job demonstrating this (https://youtu.be/U3AHgk0SUoI). For now, I simply split the difference between each direction. Based on all the positive reviews, I don't expect this will have a negative impact my flying experience. Also, one of the flap servos seized up. I'll be contacting customer service for a replacement.”
