“I have to give a HUGE round of applause for the freewing guys! They knocked it out of the park with this L39! Listen, it may have been stupid for me to step up so quick, however, this planes a baby doll as pilot Ryan likes to put it. I just started flying 6 weeks ago with a carbon cub 1.3M electric from a different company. Got super comfortable with it by the second week and was doing inverted flight. So I got board with it super quick. And to be honest, I got into the hobby to fly anything that’s EDF or turbine (I know, I’ll wait for the experience to come for the turbine lol). And I’m a huge scale jet fan. So this L39, fit the bill.That all said, I ordered this Friday morning at 03:00. It was on my door step Saturday morning at 10:47am. Hurried up home from work, started putting it all together. Took right around about 1.5 hours. I took my dear sweet time with it too. Plane went together flawlessly! Came packaged better than others. There was some damage to the box they used to ship it. But the actual box the plane is wrapped up in, had 0 damage and all the hardware was fine. So I hurry up and charge up four 5000mah 6s batteries to get ready for today. Go to sleep, and dream about seeing this bird in the air! Well, as sure the sun comes up, it’s the next day (today) and I’m stoked to get this thing out and up in the air. Since this is my first EDF and I haven’t been flying very long, I had another pilot at the field take it up for me on maiden. Flew fantastic, needed three clicks of down trim and she was locked in like a rail. Landed it. And now.....it’s my turn.Needless to say it was such an amazing flying plane that it was uneventful and had an actual smooth landing in a crosswind with no gyro. And that’s how it went for three batteries for me. Just CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT speak highly enough about Motions amazing shipping (probably helps I’m in the same state as them), the planes quality, how easily it goes together, the packaging. I honestly don’t think I’m going to buy another airplane from anyone else I’m just so in love with this L39! Me being really new, I was a bit skeptical on doing the control arm rods, and the gluing. However, the foamtac and the book makes it a breeze. I got all of the control surfaces even and where they needed to be. The gluing part was super straight forward and probably about the easiest task in modeling lol! But, when you’re knew and haven’t done something before, your mind starts going. Really, if you’re even having any seconds thoughts, just BUY THIS PLANE! I was trying to decide between this and the avanti, and I’m so happy I went with the L39. However I really do like scale jets. Alright this has been a long enough review, catch you pilots on the field! Happy flying”

“Although I haven’t flown this jet yet, the quality of this bird is second to none. The jet doesn’t look like EPO and the paint, finish and details is some of the best I have ever seen. Everything about this jet exudes quality. Per usual, motion does a great job and of offering and delivering top notch products.. This was the most I have spent on an EDF and based off this jet, I won’t hesitate to spend more. The quality is worth every penny. I just want to stare at this thing...”
“What a fantastic airplane....absolutely beautiful. Flies like a dream. My only concern is that I see people getting 4-5 minutes on a 4000 battery. I get 3 minutes on a new 5000 with about 30% left. one or two high speed passes only. Still a great job by Freewing and Motion.”

“In my 40 years of flying RC, I have never had a plane take off and not need some sort of trim adjustment. Not with the L-39, after take off on the maiden flight I made NO trim adjustments. I set this plane up exactly as detailed in the manual and balanced it level. This plane is an outstanding flyer and the yellow trim colors make it very visible. I love the camo livery, too. I rate this jet right up there with the T-33”
