“I am very impressed with this plane, flies great and is very stable if setup with less throws than the manual otherwise it can be a handful. My biggest complaint is orientation with this bird coming at you and away. FYI the 80/90 Freewing specific afterburners bolt right on with no issue and solve that orientation issue.”

“I’m not a 5th gen fighter guy; but this bird flies wonderfully. Plenty of power for loops (I haven’t been brave enough for Alphas or flat spins yet), great low speed performance, and settles in a nice glide slope on landing. Take advantage of the direct wire reverse thrust to drastically shorten your run outs. The longest part of assembly is taking it out of the box.Very happy so far.”

“Well maintained field 1 inch tall and takes almost 300 ft to get off the ground. Flaps would have been great. Just took out that little 70 and put an 80 in it from the avante let's see what it does now. And I was only using a 4,000 mAh 100 c graphene pack.”

“Set up quick! Using a Spektrum AR631 with SAFESelect, the other 2 flight modes were no gyro and a very minor amount. I did the maiden and subsequent flight with the minor gyro o because it was decently windy. Flew in rails. My only complaint was the nose wheel wasn’t completely aligned out of the box but to be honest I kind of rushed my taxi test and the adjustment was minor and did not take long.Great turning radius, did a grass landing and two on pavement. Handled everything great. Fast but not crazy fast. It’s happy at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle which helps your battery time. Used 70% rare for roll and pitch. 95% on the rudder but double my normal expo. Plenty of control at those settings. Only wish is that it had LED lighting as dusk ended my flying.”

“As with any plane, please make sure the CG is good. More so on jets. Once this plane was trimmed, it was still wobbly with wind. I then tuned the gyro on it, and now the plane flies on rails. This plane lands very similar to the f-16. Since there are no flaps she will land a little hot, if you can make flaperons that would be even better. I would recommend this as a first jet, only if you get someone who knows what he is doing for the setup. My ailerons are on DR 50%, the book is a bit off.”
