Nice plane, fast delivery, everything good in the box and I checked the retracts to make sure they were glued, all good, could do with decent screws though, flies well

I recently purchased the Freewing T-33 in the German livery, and it has exceeded every expectation. I was a bit apprehensive at first given this was my first EDF, but my fears were put to ease by the absolutely fantastic flying characteristics of this aircraft. Right out of the box, it tracks straight on takeoff roll without any tendencies to veer to the left (or right) as propeller aircraft. In the air, it really does fly on rails. It feels locked in, exactly as an aircraft with a gyro would even though it doesn't have one. The sound is absolutely incredible, as I didn't realize that an EDF could sound so much like a turbine. Landings are a dream, as the model slows down reasonably well and does not have any bad tendencies with full flaps. Most of my landings are zero power, it she glides right in with minimal correction and floats a good distance. Making a perfect landing is very easy, as the trailing link gear soak up any impact of the touchdown. I fly off of a paved surface, and the rollout is super long though. I've added wireless navigation and strobe lights, and the model looks incredibly realistic in the air and when taxiing. Overall, I give it 10/10 and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking to enter the world of EDFs. Oh yeah, this thing howls too....well over 100 mph in straight and level flight! I get 5 minute flight times with reasonable throttle management on a 6s 5200 mah.

Both main gears tore loose on maiden flight doing some minor cosmetic damage to the bottom of the wings......like others said, not enough glue. Once properly secured the plane has been flying great.

This model has many has many excellent design features i.e. nylon hinges for all control surfaces, ample cockpit space for battery and receiver, all servos pug into terminal board with only 5 plugs; , wing/elevator/rudder/wing tanks bolt on and are removeable. Speed is pretty good. good rate of climb. good stability. When it stalls it tip to one side. Robust landing gear with shock absorbing nose wheel. Color does not stand out well in the sky except for the orange wing tanks.

Received my T-33 quickly and safely. As expected, took less than an hour to assemble (didn't trust the screws to hold the tip tanks on, so that was the only use of glue in the build). Was able to maiden her this weekend and she performed exactly as expected, couldn't be more pleased. May start a trend at my field. Know of one other that's flown here and several in the order process.
