“My first three flights on the Vulcan, my first 6S jet, were excellent. The plane is very stable, and all three landings were greasers! This plane is easier to fly and land than the lighter 4S jets and would make a great first EDF. The build was easy, and it flew well when balanced with an Admiral 6S 40C battery located 1 7/8 inches aft of the forward battery compartment wall.”

“I am an experienced flyer but this was my first jet. Instructions were a little lacking - there was no mention of the Blue Junction Box stuck back in the fuse in a hard to see place. And, I flew my maiden with no trim adjustments required using a CG some 14 mm aft of the factory recommended, but with the help of RCGroups and a fellow flyer I got things sorted out. Very compatible with my relatively short (320') grass runway (landing gear seems well made, sturdy, and functional - we'll see how it holds up over time - only using half of the runway for takeoffs; and landings with flaps are no problem. Not as fast as my 4s V900 but orientation is a piece of cake vs. the V900. No gyro needed on this very well mannered jet! I would guess it's in the 120's coming out of a shallow turn with a little wind help - so, very nice speed and impressive vertical with victory rolls! IMO, this plane is a very good value at the regular price but a steal at the $300 sale price in today's market!”

“About 2 dozen flights so far and I’m impressed. Flies like it’s on rails and great vertical performance. Retracts and gear hold up well and the yellow really stands out.”

“I purchased the plane because of how it looked, I liked the cub yellow color and the decals were fine it was just a very nice looking plane. There’s only two drawbacks, the plane is small, and the leading edge is gray which created an issue for me because it disappeared on approach. Need to do something to highlight the leading edge.”
