“I bought the ME262 back in March of '21. It's an awesome airplane! Bought it for my son's 24th birthday. I started flying at about age 12, my son has been flying since the 3rd grade. He's an excellent pilot and has been (other than about 2.5 min of letting dad fly) the PIC. We really took our time setting up the plane including buying 2 Spectrom AS3X receivers and another (not ME262) plane as a test bed to learn how to program the receiver. Gotta say, this plane is awesome. BUT, landing gear is so under rated for a 6.5 lbs plane. Only 5 flights under her wings I've had to replace the nose gear (and bought a spare) and now have to buy a left main due to tire rub on the strut resulting in uncomanded left yaw on takeoff roll. Also, still trying to figure out why it requires so much aileron trim to stop banking tenancy.”

“Due to missing fiberglass injection in the Landing gear housing, the landing gear block often break due to the lack of strength, also sometime the support are not straight, so even more stress on the plastic housing.Unless this is changed to better material , the quality of the gear remains poor.”
