“This landing gear is beautifully designed and made. The problem I have is that the plastic mounting plates for the gear break very easily. I understand that you want the gear to break and not the fuselage if it lands too hard. But, the plates need to be made of aluminum, and if they were, they would withstand harder landings and the price would be worth it. But to pay $150+ for a replacement set is ridiculous...”
“I purchased this gear because the FW F-16 is close to the size of Tam's F-16 that I am modifying into a Falcon 21. Life is going to be interesting as the external body shape (cross section) at the gear station does not match - the gear mount and the body will have to be reworked. Once done, I will have a very neat, functional gear system in the 21.”
