“I modified the scale piece intoone with some more structural support. I cut two 1/4” wood dowels and put them oneach side of center. I trimmed the edges ofthe plastic just a little so they could be pushed in. Added some CA. Also, a gapfilling piece at the back of the recessed trayso the plastic dowel pins aren’t absorbing all the load. Also changed the strut to one with a trailing link.”

“Will be just fine a small screw, oh no no they have to use a E clip wich make your life miserable. Set a band aid mear you, you’ll need it.I was cussing in 5 languages. I did more damages to the plane not even at the field could be worse after a crush. I’m still mad I HATE this clips .”
“I ended up having to replay this arm after mine broke during a forced landing on a rough surface.I experience my first realization that this bird really sucks a lot of juice from the batt. Unfortunately, I found that out with an older battery that performs extremely well before this flight. I almost mad it back home but fell short of th runway by about 3 feet. Wasn't a bad landing at all, but the rough grassy area yanked those gear and flipped the plane around, and broke the support arm.At first I thought it would be difficult to get the new arm in the railing, but it was quite simple. The arm has to be twisted at an angle to get the knobs out of the railing. Just do the same to get it back in place. Easy Peasy!”
