“Taking the Freewing 90mm F-4 Phantom II (6S) out of the box is a mix of pure "Rhino" scale excitement and that inevitable "RC pilot's sigh" when you spot those minor shipping dings in the foam. But once you get past the initial frustration of a slightly scuffed wingtip or a compressed nose, the build quality of this 6S bird really shines. “This is actually my 6th F4 Phantom. I just absoutly love this bird. The 8s is a grate way to go and the added weight does not seem to detract from the flying ability of the heavier bird. It still will slow way down for those comfortable landings without even a hind of a stall. With all 6 not once have I had a bad landing and takeoffs are just as good if not better. I must say that I do use a Hobby Eagle 3L gyron in all of them. Just makes it easier to fly on those windy days. Also I might add since there have been soo many of these in the real world of F-4 's there is a whole host of choices in liveries. That is also a good reason for having 6 aircraft. My thought is you can't ask for a better flying jet in a military form.”
