“I'm currently flying my 2nd one after 50+ flights on my first one. This is one of the best foamy jet on the market. It flies OK on the 8S from Freewing but really lights up with a better fan. I fly mine is an 8S from FMS. The 22 is fast but with the right CG can also fly really slow with high alpha. The gear is narrow but solid and has been somewhat maintenance free despite my grass runway.”

“I do love my F-22 model. What is worth to highlight is the fact that my field if located a t 7,500 mal and air is very thin. Landing speeds are way faster than sea level fields. But the f-22 floats as I was flying at low msl. So, I am very happy with my purchase.”

“I purchased the ARF Plus version and installed a salvaged 90mm 6S power unit from a crashed HH 90mm Viper. The fan unit installation required a very minor modification to the internal rear ducting area as the fan housing is approximately 3/8 longer. An easy cut out of foam along the rear of the fan unit allowed for installation. The rest of the assembly was quick and easy.I have 4 flights on this model so far. The overall performance is incredible as the model is very stable flyer. The slow flight and high alpha capabilities are terrific. Nose high landing approaches and touchdowns are easy. Inverted flight requires very little forward stick pressure. Cruising flights at 1/2 to 2/3 throttle with short full throttle high alpha passes yields 5+ minute flights.The fun factor with this model is very high.”
