“Our club purchased 5 of these. We were all pleasantly surprised how easy it was to fly and land. With different skill levels, we still have 5 flying! At the top end, some of us have really upped the rates and the jet is super fun to push. We have a mixture of 8s and 6s, both fly well, but 6s seems to be the favorite. A bit lighter, only one battery, and there's not a big performance difference.”

“The first one crashed on the maiden because the BEC took a crap midair...unfortunately didn't get warrantied since I didn't have that info at the time, so I replaced it with a ZTW BEC on my 2nd Raptor. Now that I've got some time with it, I'll say that it flies very well! It's a fun plane to fly, just keep your eye on it. The only problem I have with it is that the nose gear mount is a weak spot, as after a few less than perfect landings on grass, it started coming loose from the foam. Pair it with a brace too. Given the price, I didn't expect to have these problems with the plane, hence the rating. Otherwise, it's worth buying”

“After loosing the first one due to lost radio connection with a Admiral receiver I have a Spektrum receiver with a remote and telemetry. I will not lose radio connection again.”

“Massive Airframe! Was surprised at the size of the plane just from the fuselage alone. Fully assembled it was even more impressive. Maidened the plane with stablization disabled. It flew so smooth i checked to make sure the gyro was off after landing. Awesome silhouette in the air! Dont forget to attach the little balsa piece in the nose cone to keep it from falling off on hot landings. All things considered. The massive airframe is considerably heavier than other 90mm jets. I kind of wish the plane was a bit smaller so it can get some more speed. Or lose 1kg of weight. Regardless, the F22 HP is awesome to fly!”
