“After close to 2,000 flights on Bird #1, it was time to retire Bird #1. She developed foam-cell boundary cracks in the top skin of the wings from the stress of many acrobatic maneuvers.Overall...very few items wore out (tires/wheels and a couple of retract servo gear replacements over time). Considering the work-out Bird #1 received, I can give a vigorous thumbs up for the quality. None of the control servos ever failed or began to chatter, and one EDF fan motor's bearing went bad after about 400 flights (MRC offered to replace....but I declined and bought a replacement). The other original fan motor never had issues. Bird #1 is now a hangar queen for spare parts. Bird #2 arrived in perfect shape. She flies great! No trim adjustments needed other than 3 clicks of up trim. I installed an additional carbon rod stringer in each wing's internal wiring channel to stiffen the top skin area above the motor mounts where the Bird #1 wings developed stress cracks. Such a fun bird to fly!”

“Hi folks,Sorry, no videos, I was so excited to go out and get this thing in the air that I forgot my mobile at home.Now, first flight absolutely perfect, no trim required at all, flew like on rails at 50% power, five minutes flight with Admiral 6s 6000mah, remained 3.8volt per cell, did another couple of flights and my confidence started to build up while landing with a couple of wheelies, this model flies perfectly scale like at 40% power, as long as we do not forget to use rudder to assist on turns, second and third flight without winglets, here I had to trim the ailerons a couple of clicks.MRC, you guys nailed it on this one, keep up the good work.One sugestion: it would be nice to see a U2 with a 90mmm turbine, around 3 meters span and twin batteries for extended flight times for the FPV entusiasts... and me.”

“This was my first purchase of a Motion RC plane as I have stuck with Eflite and other Horizon Hobby products since the beginning. This model looked great, although it was considerably more difficult to get it set up than I expected based on the description. After several hours I had all of the moving parts working as they should and tested everything to make sure all was in order. On its maiden flight, it had a beautiful, scale takeoff and looked amazing in the sky doing a couple of circles around the field. It was climbing a bit too high, so I applied a bit of down elevator to get it to descend a little, and all hell broke loose. The plane nose dived from several hundred feet up and wouldn't pull out of the dive no matter what I did and crashed nose first into a million pieces. A $500 plane and a $150 6S LiPo completely obliterated on a maiden flight. Needless to say, I am not a happy camper and will not be rushing to purchase another Motion RC product.”

“This is by far my favorite RC plane I’ve ever owned. It’s large and flies amazing. I first flew it without a gyro, then decided to add one and am happy with the way it flies with the spectrum AR630. I plan on buying another 1-2 of the all white versions to customize. I really hope this plane is around for a long time and MRC releases more airliners.”
