“Take care in buying foam based spare parts for this model (although this seems to be the case for several Freewing models as well). "Spare Parts" for sale for Freewing models that are made of foam are many times damaged parts in some form or fashion (stress wrinkled, pressed, gouged) that seem to be coming off the assembly line for the full kits as rejects. They are probably inspected for being at a certain "level" of practicality and if they meet it, are then sold. It is not expected that these parts should be pristine (although being of the quality of what is in the kit should be the threshold), but some of these foam parts are not reasonable to sell at full price to a customer as a like item as the original foam part.”

“I do love the way this jet looks, and flies. Easy to set up….however.. Freewing grossly failed with the wiring and convenience of travel with this jet. Unless you transport it in a large truck bed, it’s a nightmare to disconnect the wires for the LEDs and reconnect in the blue box. SO!! I cut the wires, reconnected to servo wiring and actually have connectable led lighting. The wing actually comes off easily for transport. Total lazy design from Freewing. Engineering dropped the ball.”

“The perfect blend between size, scale features, aerial presence and flight performance. It rolls, climbs, and loops no problem, but that kind of flight is NOT necessary to enjoy this model. Flying scale and with 300ft (looks super real off in the distance) and 10 - 20 ft show passes combined with realistic high alpha landings (nose up, touching the main gear first like real ones) is where this aircraft SHINES to me. Great Job Freewing!Although I’m not recommending flying in these conditions, the aerodynamics of this aircraft allow it to slice through 10 mph wind with 15-20 mph gusts no problem (I did this with gyro with aileron and elevator gains of 15%-20%).If you follow the instructions there is a high chance you need zero trim for stable flight.”

“Bought from a member of my local club, so I knew it already flies well. A solid 5 mins. w/ 6S -5000mh batt. Quality is great, tight joints, and easy to access fuselage for my big hands. I used a Spektrum AL 637T RX w/telemetry, and extra antenna to make sure I get no signal loss. My only (small) complaint = Factory applied decals, with no offer of a "blank" fuse (like the AL-37). I like to customize my planes (BIG shout out to Callie Graphics) so a "blank canvas" would be desired...”
