“What a great flying model. After reading the Eurofighter thread on RCGroups forum I bought the 8S version, for the extra punch / power, and managed to get the CG 25-30mm behind the factory CG, as recommended on RCGroups, without adding any lead / weight in the tail. I use 2 Red Power XT 4500 Mah 4S lipo’s (HRB 4S 4000 or 4200 60C will also fit).Also removed the air brake and cut out some foam (saves 50 grams) and ready to fly weight is somewhere around 3750 grams (without bombs and fuel tanks).To achieve the CG I’ve relocated the control board vertical to the side (see photo with my finger pointing) and put all the wires to the side. I slide 1 lipo in the air brake section and under the power cables and the other lipo on the original place. Also added air scoop for extra cooling. Also added the universal afterburner, very bright, connected to small 3S lipo.Flight time with throttle management around 4 minutes.See all my photo’s for lipo location etc.One bummer: after putting the model together on the workbench my ESC died after few throttle bursts, Motion RC sent me a new one within a couple of days, GREAT SERVICE, thanks!!!(Mmmm can only add 5 pictures to this review? “I have 8s version and it flies very well with 6200 mah batteries gettin 5 mins with some battery left but the landing gear door have a small hinge and I’ve broke 2 sets they shoulda been made out of something better for grass flying”

“This jet is one of the most expensive in the Freewing lineup, but it has the latest technology and flies like a dream. Awesome retracts, awesome lights, awesome weapons display, easy high alpha flying, canard mix has been simplified. The air break is a kewl feature. My only recommendation would be to get the 6S cause with the 8S you cannot easily move the battery and you have to add 3oz of lead to the tail. I think this kills any advantage of the 8S, so get the 6S version and enjoy. This plane carries its energy well and just flows through the ski. A nice presence from this big plane.”
