“I added brakes and a few other things to mine and so far it handles the extra weight on 6s and 8s with no problem. It flies similar to the Avanti just heavier but I'm glad about it.”

“Beautiful, right out of the box. 10 plus flights. Flies like it’s on rails. Careful on your slow down to land… this is a stiff heavy model. Got to respect the wing loading.”

“I've had several FW jets and they just keep getting better. I put my own custom 10S system in the Zeus and am getting 153 mph straight & level, and 7-8 minute flights. Very generous sized battery compartment for many options. I've also converted several FW jets to turbine and the Zeus is an excellent candidate for that with very little mods. The quality and fit and finish is first rate. Very, very solid for a foamy.”

“Beautiful, high quality finish. Very nice flying plane I used the freewing 8s power and there is still plenty of room to fit my 2 smc 6200 4 cells and she balanced fine. Knife edges with little or no coupling, it’s fast as advertised for sure. Does great snap maneuvers and lands beautifully especially with full flaps. She is heavy enough to shrug off high winds this and the raptor are my favorites!!”

“It's a shame that the plane, which offers quite good sensations in flight, has one of the worst color schemes in its decoration that I have ever experienced. I have several FW military jets such as F22, F18, Mig29 and Eurofighter, and they all have better visibility than Zeus. For those fanboys who defend the blue scheme, please be honest and agreed that, if FW changes the scheme tomorrow to a red, orange, yellow or green one, they will receive zero complaints for this decision. I really don't understand the reason for choosing this scheme, given that it is a sport jet. This ruins the entire flight experience. I'm already repainting mine, but this is something I would in no way need to do on this type of jet. If I had known it needed to be repainted, I wouldn't have bought it.”

“I added my own HSD 90 mm and 100 amp esc. I did not think to secure the tail feather leads and third flight the fan cut the leads. I was lucky to land it with full up elevator. Do not make my error.”

“All of the exterior surfaces are painted and nicely finished. No exposed foam. Toolless wing mount makes it easy to transport and then attach the wings at the field. The navigation lights and landing light look great when landing as the sun is going down. The landing gear has large wheels and work great on grass. The stock Freewing 6S EDF unit is very quiet and provides plenty of thrust for grass takeoffs. I followed the manual for the servo throws and setup. The CG marks on the wings are a nice touch and make it easy to balance. It lands a little faster than some of my other 90mm planes, but not much faster. The landing gear gives it a slight nose down attitude, so you need some up elevator to get it to rotate on takeoff. Also, it does drop the nose on full throttle like Wesley pointed out in the videos. Just have to be ready to feed in some up elevator when you advance the throttle. Other than that, it flies great, easy and docile at part throttle and fast and responsive at full throttle. Great sport jet and well worth it.”
