“The P-38 comes with a non suspended strut system and I used it that way for years. Not bad, but not great either. After being OOS for some time I finally got the upgraded NG then later was able to get the Mains. I flew with the upgraded NG while waiting on the mains to come back in stock and it was a marked improvement over the unsuspended strut. When I finally was able to add the mains, it was worth the wait. I'm really happy with the new found ease with which the P-38 lands. As an extra you also get a more stock appearing wheel with the upgrade. Nice!”
