motion rc has worked with me to fix the bronco, they have been super friendly and have sent the parts out. I suppose you can have a bad, esc, bec, blue box, and a servo go bad in any plane, I'm really happy this has worked out for the best, and yes I will be buying more motion rc planes in the future, motion rc rocks!!!!!!!!

The packaging was excellent, and on opening not one blemish or ding or slightly off center on any of the parts. All the parts were there as well all the fasteners required. I followed the video build and within 2 hours had all the electronics working. I had to either lengthen or shorten the push rods to get the perfect fit for all the control surfaces. Part of the fun of at least allowing us old time balsa/ply modelers some setting up to do. The video to wire the Bronco was the greatest help of all. Without it, you would be trying for hours to get the wiring correct. Now to set up the dual rates. Easy except the the flaps. Getting them to be adjusted for exact deflection across 4 flaps was a nightmare. But achieve it I did. Not without thinking that they might act as ailerons when deployed. I am going to use Zippy 4S 4500mah batteries. The CG showed a 45 degree nose heavy with these, so reluctantly I glued 12 x 1/4 oz weights under the horizontal stabilizer (6 either side) against the vertical stab. CG came out with about a 2 degree nose down. Works for me!Today was Maiden Flight day, at AMOSRC flying site in N. California. Smoke from the fires gave less than a mile visibility. Did the necessary range test and taxied out to midway on our runway. Wind was about 5 mph at about 60 degrees cross wind. Usual at our site. Set 1/2 flaps, throttled up and almost a perfect take-off. Had to put in a small amount of up elevator trim for level flight at 1/2 throttle, gear up and flaps up. No nasty surprises, did some barrel rolls and a very poor split-S. Did not like coming out of a loop though! Poor piloting I think. Set up for a landing, 1/2 flaps caused aircraft to climb. did not have any flap/elevator mix. However, throttled back with sufficient power and did nice 3 point landing. Very long roll out until the aircraft stopped.Got the 2nd flight ready, but I put in about 3 mm of down elevator for 1/2 flaps and 3 mm more for full flaps. The take-off was very scale, lifted gear and flaps and could not determine any effect on the aircraft at all. Did a number of landings/take-offs without incident and got 8 minutes flight time. Batteries were at 50% at the end of this great flying day. Only one down-side. After about 6 take-off and landings, one of the main landing gear struts has come loose in the retract trunnion. It will mean removing the plastic, retract etc. to Loctite the grub screws in place. Conclusion - flies like a trainer, looks like a Warbird, envy from my club friends.

I do this with a heavy heart, i own other planes from motion rc, but this has been the worst plane I have ever owned. Due to a bad bluebonnet, the ov10 bronco has burned up a reciever, and a steering nose servo, yes their was a small fire coming out of the servo. I have carefully watched the video on the plane 10 times, everything was hooked up right. This has been the worst experience I have ever had in my life, and depending on what motion rc does will tell if I ever order from them again!!!!!

The Bronco is a Marmite model, you either think it's as thing of beauty or it's as ugly as a pig, what it is though is different. The level of detail is good and assembly fairly straight forward, but I do suggest you watch the videos on Motion.RC's site, in particular in relation to the wiring. There is an error in the manual - as with all models you need DOWN elevator mixing with the flaps , I have 20%, not UP as the manual suggests. You also do not need the big Lipo packs as the videos suggest, I am running 2x 4s 3200mah packs and get 10 minutes easily with about 30% remaining on landing. Due to the big tail surfaces the model is a big 'waggy' in a cross wind but I fly Jeti and have an assist RX which dampens out the wind effect, but its not bad, it just makes it fly a bit more straight and level. Overall I am happy with the model, lights and retracts look great, as do low passes and side slipping down the strip.

The scale looks and flight characteristics are great on the Bronco. She flies really nice however she does lack in the power department compared to other models. At full throttle she barely has any power to climb in the hot high density altitude days in Arizona. The airplane was also a bit of a pain to assemble due to all of the wiring that is involved in the airplane. Very small area to work with on trying to connect everything up in the inside of the fuse. Other than those two items she does fly really well. It would have been nice if she had just a bit more power.

The OC-10 is great looking and not hard to assemble if you watch the videos, especially the one about removing the battery tray. There is plenty of wire to do this and attach all the wires and put is back in place. It is also a little lacking when it comes to syncing the motors. The video on the motor sync of the B-24 is much better and explains the process so that even someone like myself that has no background with Electric Airplanes or multiengine Planes can do it easily.Flying the plane is easy and it is stable and pretty easy to land for someone like me that is a little above beginner level but you do have to fly it all the way down.I think they will have a upgrade for the motors someday because it needs it, turns slowly into the wind and not much vertical. All in all it is a very good plane and looks great in the Air.
