“I didn't give it a 5 because of a major screw up on flitelines part. They sent me the wrong size prop shaft retention bolts AKA prop nuts. I got 1 on ok, but the other one REFUSED to go on. I ordered a new drive shaft and prop nuts and installed them and that cured the problem. Shell get her first flight as soon as the winds cooperate.”

“Upon opening the box the quality of the model was consistent with other Freewing models that I am currently flying. It is a beautiful airplane with fit and finish being excellent. I have not yet flown the airplane but if it flys like other Freewing models that I have, the 5 star rating is spot on. One suggestion I have is that you balance the airplane with the gear retracted. This may be obvious to some, but it is one thing that can easily be overlooked when being anxious to get a plane ready to fly. All three gear retract rearward, which will move the CG farther aft. Balancing with the gear up will establish the CG at the correct location for normal flight and gear down will move the CG forward which is fine for take off and landing. If you balance with the gear down, it may cause you to be slightly tail heavy when you treats the the gear which could adversely affect slow flight, especially in a turn.”

“The scale details are fantastic. I used a Pulse 6s 5000 50C all the way forward on the maiden and made no adjustments. Took off with takeoff flaps on grass and it was off quickly. The plane has tons of power and flight times are long. My maiden was five minutes and left 64% on the battery so I’ll up my timer a couple of minutes. Based on reviews, I expected to need more power in turns but it flew like everything else for me. Landings are simple - full flaps resulted in no pitch up using the book flap to elevator mix. It lands a bit fast but stopped quickly in the grass. This is a really well designed model and is a low stress flyer. The only thing I’ll work on is bomb drops. The bombs are too small and too light. Unless you drop them low and right in front of you, you might miss them. I’ll add weight to the nose and paint them or may just use paratroopers instead. The mechanics of the bomb bay worked well.”

“A work of art. A painless build. Very enjoyable build. My decals came out great. Great design, love the beefy landing gear suspension!. Love, love the bomb bay doors. Love the detach wing ends for transport. Love the way it flys--very hard to make it stall, easy to fly. Lands very well. My first flightline purchase. I am impressed!!”
