“I love twin warbirds. I've been a fan of MotionRC warbirds for a long time. When this 1.6m Flightline B-25 was announced, I immediately pre-ordered. No regrets whatsoever. Assembly was easy. I don't like critical servos (ailerons and elevator) going through interface connectors or blue-box modules; so, I rerouted those servo wires, using my own servo extensions. I setup my radio with modes, set to the Flaps Switch, so that I could trim the aircraft for all three flap settings, independent of each other. On the first flight, I trimmed the three flap modes. Once trimmed, the B-25 was rock solid and predictable. I did find that I needed full flaps (set at about 70°) to slow the aircraft down for landing; otherwise, she landed too fast. Full flaps were very effective for landing. I did notice the B-25 wanted to pitch up a bit in turns, and I found that I was having to apply a little down elevator to keep the nose down and the bank angle reasonable (for a scale bomber). The rudder is VERY effective, which is a really good thing for a warbird. The only quirk (and it wasn't totally unexpected) is that the B-25 wanted to slow down significantly in turns, and she did stall on me once and almost stalled on me another time. That's the only negative that I can think of, and it's not much of a negative at all. I would NOT call this a beginner warbird, but an intermediate warbirder should be able to fly her with ease, just watch your speed in the turns. The power is really good. With the onboard GPS, I clocked a max speed (ground) of 87 mph (no wind, probably in a slight dive). Response to the throttle is really good. I fly on grass, and she needs a good, long run to reach takeoff speed. If possible decouple the nose wheel steering from the rudder (requires a separate channel and some mixing); I found that the nose wheel steering was too sensitive when turning at the same rate as the rudder, even with 35% expo. The size, speed, and presence is outstanding. I am VERY VERY happy with the purchase and the performance of this B-25. If you're on the fence about getting one, get off the fence and grab your credit card. She's worth the money!”

“What a beautifully scale model this is. Just amazed of the detail that went into this one. The landing gear looks and works amazing. I only had to make a minor elevator adjustment. All the rest was spot on. I admit the bird feels quite heavy, especially with a battery but it has very respectable flight time with a 5000 6s pack. My first flight was conservative averaging 1/2 to 3/4 throttle and I had 3.92 per cell voltage after 5 mins of flight. I would say you could easily get 7 min on a 5000 cruising around on a scale flight. Looking forward to more flights on this baby. I highly recommend it. Not a beginner plane. Intermediate to skilled pilot recommended.”

“The B-25 has been my favorite "warbird" since I first seen one, and when this one showed up, I just had to have it. The attention to packaging and arranging of the pieces of the kit is outstanding, all the parts were wrapped in plastic bags and securely fitted into the foam containers. The assembly is pretty much straight forward with the assembly manual to assist. I did find one "star and bar "decal on the fuselage crumpled up, purely cosmetic, but I think I can fix it. The other negative I found was the control rods for the elevator were not suitable for the job, I replaced those with pieces I made with 2/56 rods and clevises. The maiden flight went perfectly, with half notch of flaps, it rotated and climbed out with plenty of power. It was evident that it did need a little more elevator authority, so the elevator rates were changed to a higher setting. All the lights, sequencing gear doors and landing gear operated very smoothly. The C.G. was right on with the Admiral 5000 mah battery moved forward against the bulkhead, and the battery compartment was sufficient for all the electronics with the pre-wired controller mounted with room beside it for the receiver, all servo leads plainly marked. This bird is highly detailed, the decal sets included seem to be of nice quality, although I've yet to apply them. The clear plastics are very nice, no cloudiness, and the pilot and co-pilot figures look good. I plan on doing some "weathering" and other detailing, but this bird looks great as is right out of the box. Hopefully, I'll log many hours on it enjoying it on the ground or in the air, either way, it's a winner.”

“Ordered the new B-25 the first day it was offered. Patiently waited for word it was ready to ship from Motion. I received the aircraft 8-22-2023. Unpacked box and layed out all components. All parts well protected in foam container. Took about 3 hours to assemble and set up flight controls. Installed new Spektrum 8 channel telemetry reciever. Found aircraft to be very well engineered. Fit and finish were very good. Outboard wing sections install and remove very easily. Set up C.G. with HRB 5000mah using marks under inboard wings. First flight went very well using about 70 to 80% throttle at takeoff. Aircraft has ample power and found that it cruised easily at 65% throttle. Only needed a little nose up trim for straight and level flight. Landing required very little nose up trim with flap deployment. Landings were almost as easy as my Flightline F7F Tigercat but the B-25 seems a little heavier probably due to the 5000mah 22.2V battery. Even so the C.G. location worked great with no problems with how the aircraft handled throughout the speed range. All in all the aircraft looks great and flies great and achieves easy 10 minute flights at 70% power landing with 35% left on the 5000mah battery. Great airplane and well worth the wait.”

“I was one of the lucky ones and got my B-25 earlier than most. With only 6 flights on her so far, I have had zero issues. The plan arrived in perfect condition. Setup was simple. Throw recommendations are pretty good. CG is perfect and was easy to balance with a variety of lipos from 5000 to 6000mAh. Fly it like a bomber and she is docile, but has plenty of power to do "other stuff". This B-25...HECK YEAH!”
